What made me grateful this week..

This has been a very hard week. Our littlest was diagnosed on Monday with RSV and an ear infection. Thankfully so far it has been a very mild case and I am so grateful for that.

Thursday we were able to go to Harrison’s preschool to see his Thanksgiving play and watch him have a Thanksgiving feast with his friends. They sang the cutest little songs. While watching him sing and play with his friends I could not help but become emotional and overcome with gratitude that we found this little school. I’ll post some pictures below for you to enjoy.

I hope everyone reading this has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with everyone they love.

Our last trip as a family of 3…

As I lay here next to my sleeping 3 year old, it is so hard to wrap my head around the fact that 1 week from today I will be napping with him for the last time before he becomes a big brother. Harrison is going to be such an AMAZING big brother but my heart can’t help but worry about how much his world is about to change.

Maternity photo session 3 weeks ago. You can tell in his smiles how excited he is for Carter to be here!

We always take a quick trip right before Christmas either to Atlanta or Athens. My husband Ryan is a basketball coach so it’s a perfect little break almost halfway through his season. This year his schedule was too crazy so we were unable to take one. Delaying the trip ended up being absolutely perfect because we were able to turn the trip into a final trip for Harrison as an only child. The weather ended up being cold and gloomy the first day but we didn’t let that put a damper on our trip. We went swimming in the indoor pool, ate at our favorite restaurants, took a walk through campus and finished the weekend shopping. It was a wonderful weekend full of memories that will never be forgotten. It’s so hard to believe that our next trip will be to the beach as a family of 4!!!! I’ll post some pictures from our trip below 🙂

Harrison’s favorite fountain on campus. He always wants to go see it

Ringing the victory bell with daddy is his favorite

We love visiting the campus bookstore
He loves just watching the fountain

Eating at The Varsity for the first time

The weekend definitely wore this sweet boy out
